Knurled Shouldered Thumb Nuts (DIN 466)

Knurled Shouldered Thumb Nuts, manufactured to DIN 466 standard, feature a cylindrical shaped head with a large outer diameter. This provides a wide surface to grasp when fastening by hand, with no additional tools required.

The textured outer edge of these High Type Knurled Thumb Nuts offers better grip to further aid installation, while the tapped through hole enables use with any matching machine threaded fastener.

If used alongside Knurled Shouldered Thumb Screws or Flat Knurled Thumb Screws, it creates a symmetrical fastening that allows accurate manual adjustment from both ends.

Knurled Shouldered Thumb Nuts can be found across various of applications and assemblies – typically those that require some form of maintenance such as panels or service covers.

Manufactured from Blackened Steel, Zinc Plated Steel and A1 Stainless Steel as standard. Other materials such as A2 Stainless Steel, A4 Stainless Steel and Brass are also available on request.
