Molybdenum Hexagon Full Nuts (DIN 934)

Molybdenum Hexagon Full Nuts, in accordance with DIN 934 standard or ISO 4032, are the most common type of nut on the market and can be found in almost any application or assembly.

When used in conjunction with a bolt, screw, or machine threaded fastener, Molybdenum Hex Nuts create a tight and secure fixing that prevents movement. They are often combined with half nuts to create a locking formation that increases resistance to vibration.

Matching Molybdenum Hex Socket Cap Screws and Molybdenum Socket Countersunk Screws are also available at Fastenright.

Their six-sided hexagonal design with chamfered corners enables quick and easy installation using a hex wrench or socket tool. The coarse internal thread is more resistant to stripping and cross-threading while being simpler to install compared to those with a fine pitch.

These components provide excellent heat resistance and good corrosion resistant properties. Their low thermal expansion rate and high strength at elevated temperatures makes DIN 934 Molybdenum Hexagon Full Nuts a great choice for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

Available now at Fastenright in thread sizes from M3 to M8 as standard, with other sizes available to order.

Hex Full Nuts are available in various materials including A2 / A4 Stainless Steel, Brass and Nylon – as well as more exotic materials such as Aluminium, Titanium and Inconel.

Non-standard sizes, grades and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.Molybdenum Hexagon Full Nuts (DIN 934) Technical Drawing
