Slab Base Tee Nuts or T-Nuts provide a low cost, threaded anchor fixing for sheet metal – offering excellent load distribution.
These T-Nuts typically host fixing holes as opposed to weld pips which are often found in Weld Base Tee Nuts. The circular design offers a larger surface area for greater load distribution compared to Rectangular Weld Base Tee Nuts – often selected when space is not a concern.
They are also available with a plain base, weld projections on top of the base, weld projections on the bottom of the base, or with a mixture of fixing holes and weld projections.
Slab Base Tee Nuts are often found within furniture and domestic appliances, as well as a range of engineering and automotive applications.
Manufactured from Mild Steel as standard, with other materials and finishes available on request.
Available in thread sizes M6 to M10 as standard, featuring either two or three fixing holes. A range of UNF and UFC sizes are also available.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
