Slotted Raised Countersunk Barrel Nuts in Stock

  • Countersunk to allow for a high strength fixing.
  • Male screw fastens into internally threaded female barrel nut (sex bolt). Standard slotted drive.
  • 90 degree countersunk head with closed end.
  • Ideal for use in architectural applications.

Barrel nuts featuring a raised countersunk head, similar to the style usually found in light switches and plug sockets, with a slotted drive. It can be fastened with a standard flat blade screwdriver.

They are used with screws of the same thread diameter, to clamp two or more pieces of material together.

Available as standard in A1 stainless steel, a material which is specifically designed for machining, as well as A4 stainless steel for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance in environments exposed to saltwater. Certain sizes are available in A2.

Barrel Nuts can also be referred to as sleeve nuts within the industry.
