Pin Hex Button Security Self Tapping Security Screws Stock Sizes

Self Tapping Pin Hex Button Security Screws are tamper resistant fixings that require a special driver bit or key to fix or remove.

Suitable for high torque applications and situations requiring medium security resistance at a relatively low cost. The screw can be removed and reinstalled, allowing for maintenance if necessary.

The hex drive allows for greater torque compared to more conventional screw heads, in turn reducing cam-out – which lessens the risk of damage to the drive tip, screw head or application.The drive is also resistant to tampering from more conventional drivers and keys.

Sometimes referred to as Hex Pin, Tamper Pin Hex and Socket Screw with Pin, these fasteners are available as standard in A2 or A4 stainless steel.
