Security 5 Lobe Pin TX Button Head Captive Screws

5 Lobe Pin TX Button Head Captive Screws offer an alternative to the Security Pin Torx Plus^® drive and provide enhanced security over a standard Pin TX Button screw whilst maintaining high torque capability.

These captive screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head – often referred to as the reduced shank. Once installed alongside Threaded Captive Washers, they are designed to self retain, which prevents any loss of fasteners.

5 Lobe Pin TX Button Head Captive Screws feature a vandal resistant 5-Lobe TX Head, requiring a special driver bit for installation and removal. The unique shape of the drive makes these screws tamper-proof, reducing the risk of vandals or intruders attempting to undo the screw.

The fastener is a two-way reusable fixing making it ideal for applications where regular maintenance is required. They are suitable for use in higher torque applications that require increased levels of security.

Manufactured from A2 / 304 Stainless Steel and A4-70 Stainless Steel as standard. Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M3 to M8, with lengths from 12mm to 100mm.
