TX Aluminium Micro Profile Head Screws

TX Aluminium 6 Lobe Micro Profile Head Screws offer a lightweight, low profile fastening solution weighing approximately a third of the same screws manufactured in Steel or Stainless Steel.

As well as being lightweight, Aluminium screws also have many other advantages:

  • Resistance to atmospheric corrosion means that there is no need for the screws to be treated in ordinary environments
  • Resistance to chemical corrosion so are compatible with many chemicals and are safe to use in food holding containers and pharmaceutical products
  • They are non-staining but accept paint readily and can also be supplied in a range of colours
(see TX aluminium Coloured Micro Profile Head Screws)

Aluminium 6 Lobe Micro Profile Screws are flat in comparison to other screw types, such as truss head and pan / cheese head screws.

This makes them the ideal solution if the screws are to be used for fastening to a thin plate that can’t be counterbored to accept a flat head countersunk screw, as they have an extremely thin head height.

Available in sizes M3 to M6 as standard, with lengths ranging from 6mm to 20mm.

Non-standard sizes and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts to drawings.
