Knurled Body Knock-In Insert Nuts with Collar (IN13) are designed to be used in applications where the decorative flat head remains visible. They have a knurled shank which should be driven into the wood with a hammer using a pilot hole of the appropriate size.
Each insert has a collar which prevents over-insertion. A board can then be attached from above utilising a flathead screw which screws into the standardised internal threads.

They are available in a variety of lengths from 8mm to 12mm. Diameters from 5.5mm to 12.5mm are available with head diameters from 8mm to 18.5mm. Non standard sizes available to order from Fastenright.
