Invar Hex Socket Cap Screws (DIN 912)

Invar Hex Socket Cap Screws, in accordance with DIN 912 standard / ISO 4762, offer extremely low rates of thermal expansion and high dimensional stability – typically used for precision applications that require minimal dimensional change due to a change in temperature.

Equipped with an internal hex drive and a cylindrical style head, they protrude from the target surface once installed – a counterbore hole will provide a flush, aesthetically pleasing finish.

The head often features a knurled outer edge for increased grip while its height is equal to that of the thread diameter.

Fastened using an Allen key or hex wrench, Allen Head Bolts offer increased cam-out resistance to enable use with power drivers – applying additional torque to speed up the installation process.

DIN 912 Invar Hex Socket Cap Screws are available now at Fastenright in thread sizes from M3 to M8 as standard, with lengths from 6mm to 35mm.

Available in either Invar or Super Invar as standard. Socket Cap Screws can be supplied in a huge range of materials including 12.9 Grade Steel, A2 / A4 Stainless Steel, Brass and Nylon.

Various exotic materials such as Aluminium, Titanium, Monel, Inconel, Molybdenum, Hastelloy and Phosphor Bronze are also available to order.
