Inconel Hex Socket Cap Screws (DIN 912)

Inconel Hex Socket Cap Screws are manufactured to DIN 912 standard or ISO 4762, featuring an internal hexagon shaped drive with cylindrical head.

Otherwise known as Allen Head bolts or screws, the head can host either a smooth or knurled outer edge, with the head height being equal to the thread diameter.

Fastened using a hex wrench or Allen hex key, these socket cap screws are suitable for use with power drivers to generate higher torque and reduce installation time. This is due to the increased resistance to cam-out offered by hex socket drives – an improvement on standard slotted and Phillips drives.

DIN 912 Inconel Hex Socket Cap Screws provide excellent heat and creep resistance with a high working temperature range. Inconel is often selected for specialist applications subject to extreme conditions e.g. in the nuclear and aerospace sectors.

Available now at Fastenright in thread sizes from M3 to M8 as standard, with lengths ranging from 6mm to 30mm.

These screws are available in various materials including 12.9 Grade Steel, A2 / A4 Stainless Steel, Brass and Nylon – with other exotic materials such as Aluminium, Titanium, Monel, Molybdenum, Hastelloy, Invar / Super Invar and Phosphor Bronze also available.
