Security Pin Countersunk Head Tricle Captive Screws

Security Pin Countersunk Head Tricle Captive Screws host a unique drive often found in applications requiring an anti-theft or anti-vandalism fastener.

Captive screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head – often referred to as the reduced shank. Once installed with a Threaded Captive Washers, they cannot be fully removed from their housing which prevents any loss of fasteners.

Pin Countersunk Head Tricle Captive Screws feature a pin drive and a rounded, three-pronged recess. The flat countersunk head sits flush when installed in a countersink hole, providing an aesthetically pleasing finish.

These components are designed to conform with the EU Machine Safety Directive 2006 and are often found in safety guards and captive panels for machinery.

Manufactured from A2 / 304 Stainless Steel as standard. Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M3 to M8, with lengths from 12mm to 30mm. Available in both Tricle ‘Type A’ and Tricle ‘Type B’.
