Security System Zero Captive Screws

System Zero Security Captive screws feature a domed head and an external non-slip drive which helps to avoid damage to adjacent components.

This unique drive requires a special System Zero Security Insert Bit for installation and is designed to resist cam-out – ideal for higher torque applications.

Security System Zero Captive Screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head, often referred to as the reduced shank. When partnered with Threaded Captive Washers, these components designed to self retain – increasing safety and preventing any loss of fasteners.

Manufactured from Steel and A2 / 304 Stainless Steel as standard, with other materials available on request.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M8, with lengths from 8mm to 60mm. Thread locking patches can also be supplied for additional vibration resistance.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
