Slotted Fillister Head Captive Screws

Slotted Fillister Head Captive Screws feature a rounded head with flat sides and deep slotted drive, installed using a standard slotted screwdriver – no special tools required.

Captive Screws are a unique fastener designed with an unthreaded portion below the head, otherwise known as the reduced shank. Once installed, these screws are retained within the target housing which prevents full removal of the screw and loss of fasteners.

They are typically used to secure safety and inspection covers, as well as for various safety critical applications and those that require regular maintenance – ideal for use alongside Threaded Captive Washers.

The fillister head is taller than other raised head types and protrudes from its target housing to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Slotted Fillister Head Captive Screws are manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with other materials and finishes available on request.

Available now in thread sizes 4-40 to 10-32 as standard, with lengths from 1/2″ to 1″. Other sizes available to order. We supply an extensive range of Captive Screws here at Fastenright.
