Waspaloy is an age-hardened superalloy that holds outstanding strength at high temperatures. Containing nickel, cobalt and molybdenum – this combination is what provides Waspaloy threaded rods with its characteristically high strength and high-temperature stability.
These threaded rods exceed the strength and stability of a number of other alloys and are still strong at temperatures beyond 760°C.
It is also relatively resistant to the oxidation process which makes it ideal in applications like gas turbine engines and a variety of other aerospace components.
Available in a number of ageing varieties, and in thread lengths of M2 to M33 as standard – with larger sizes available to be made to order.
