Clutch Head Countersunk Security Wood Screws

The Clutch Head Security Screw has a unique head that requires only a standard slotted screwdriver for insertion, making this the ideal security screw for one way permanent applications.

Although the screw provide an excellent permanent security solution for mass usage, they can be time consuming to install, therefore when installation time is essential we can offer another one way permanent option, the ‘Sentinel Security Screw’. This utilises a modified Pozi drive allowing standard pozi drill bits to be used for fast and high volume installation.

Due to the design of screw, it is suitable for medium torque application. The unique drive system has a special chamfer at either side of the slotted drive enabling the screws to be turned in only one direction, so when turned anticlockwise the tool simply slips out.

These screws are most commonly seen in public areas such as commercial toilet facilities, where maintenance is not required but security is essential to prevent vandals tampering.

They offer a medium and one way permanent security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost , proving an economic and secure equilibrium.

Within the industry, Clutch Head Security screws are also referred to by other names including Clutch Drive, One Way Screws, One Way Round Screws, Perma Screws.

Special removal tools are available but are only recommended for use with Stainless Steel Clutch Head screws. Fastenright Ltd only supplies removal tools to account customers that have bought the corresponding screws from our company. We will refuse to sell removal tools to non-account customers.
