Security Armour Rings

Security Armour Rings are a unique security nut with a simple, but effective design. Hosting a conical collar, the nut is hammered over any British or DIN Standard hexagon bolt or hexagon nut, rendering the fixing tamperproof.

The armour rings are not governed by torque and are applied to existing nut or belt heads by simply hammering them on, which leaves a smooth finish with no sharp edges. They are ideal to be placed on maintenance-free applications.

Security Rings can be installed using a standard hammer, but there are special tools available for faster and easier installation.

Security Armour Rings are manufactured and available in Stainless Steel or Steel Zinc plate, with other sizes and materials available to order.

Available from Fastenright M6 to M20 as standard.

Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
