Security Pin Hex Button Flange Captive Screws

Security Pin Hex Button Flange Captive Screws host a tamper-proof Pin Hex drive with an integrated flange below the rounded button head. The large surface area of the flange offers greater load distribution, while the hexagon-shaped recess allows higher torque to be achieved.

These components feature an unthreaded portion, or reduced shank, below the head. Intended for use with Threaded Captive Washers, they cannot be fully removed from their housing once installed.

Security Pin Hex Button Flange Captive Screws offer medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost – requiring a special Pin Hex wrench or insert bit for installation and removal.

Manufactured from A2 / 304 Stainless Steel and A4 / 316 Stainless Steel as, with Steel and Steel Zinc Plated available on request.

Available to order at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M12, and lengths from 8mm to 120mm. Optional thread locking patches can also be supplied for increased vibration resistance.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
