Slotted Countersunk Captive Screws are the perfect combination between a flat-headed countersunk screw and a captive shank.
This captive shank is also referred to as a reduced thread.
Importantly, the screw complies with the EU safety directive regarding machine guards.
They are also used to fasten sheet metal or captive panels, which are held in place between the head of the screw and a captive washer, which prevents full removal.
Available from Fastenright in both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, with optional thread locking patches available.
Sizes available from M1.6 to M10, with lengths ranging from 8mm to 120mm.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order, including custom parts made to drawings.
d and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
