Raised Phillips Countersunk Captive Screws are designed to be used alongside Phillips drive bits and screwdrivers.
Hosting a reduced thread – otherwise known as a captive shank – these fasteners provide a secure joining and aid in avoiding the loss or damage of the fastener within an assembly as the screw cannot be fully removed.
Often found amongst shet metal and captive panels which need to be retained for safety reasons.
Available from Fastenright in A2 and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, with optional thread locking patches also available.
Thread diameters available from M1.6 to M10, with lengths ranging from 8mm to 100mm.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order, including custom parts made to drawings.
d1 and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
